7 July 2026: Improved local AI voice ElevenLabs, Proto, Intron and Deepgram

Our voice capabilities have made a major leap forward: we now natively integrate ElevenLabs, the world's leading AI Voice provider, Proto, Intron and Deepgram.

All these features are compatible with:

  • The Text-to-speech card in Journeys
  • The Speech-to-text card in Journeys
  • The Agent card (read more in: 3 Jul 2026: Voice Agents)
  • Inbox voice note transcriptions

ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs is the world's leading voice model provider. It supports 32 languages and has a voice library of over 10,000 voices, plus the ability for you to create your own custom voices.

Soon, you'll also be able to use ElevenLabs voices with AI Call Answering.

Proto

Proto has incredible support for under-served languages, such as Amharic, Bemba, Igbo, Kinyarwanda, Malagasy, Nyanja, Oshiwambo, Sesotho, Shona, Sudanese, Twi, Wolof, Xhosa, Yoruba, Afrikaans, Sesotho, Zulo, Swahili, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and many more.

Intron

Intro has great support for African languages, such as Afrikaans, Akan, Amharic, Arabic, Bemba, Fulani, Ga, Hausa, Igbo, Luganda, Northern Sotho, Nyankole, Oromo, Pidgin, Kinyarwanda, Shona, Sotho, Swahili, Tswana, Twi, Wolof, Xhosa, Yoruba, Zulu.

Deepgram

Deepgram offers great voice support for languages spoken in India, such as Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
