Try Turn.io using a Sandbox

What is a sandbox?

A sandbox is a prototyping tool - a virtual shared number that enables you to try most (but not all) functionality on the Turn.io chat platform.

How do I create a sandbox?

If you're new to Turn.io, you can create a sandbox by signing up for a Turn.io account.

  1. Visit app.turn.io
  2. Sign up with Gmail/Microsoft email
  3. Complete the Sign Up form
  4. Accept T&Cs
  5. When asked if you're ready to start using the WA Business Platform, choose "Not yet, I'd like to explore Turn.io first"
  1. Create a unique name for your prototyping account (sandbox). This will be the entry code users will need to send to start engaging with your prototype on WhatsApp.
  2. Scan the QR code on a phone with WhatsApp installed. The WhatsApp app on the phone should open to the shared sandbox number.
  3. Send your unique code to the shared WhatsApp number to get started.

If you've already got a Turn.io subscription, you will have at least one sandbox you can access from your Number menu. If you want to create a new sandbox, you can click "Create a sandbox" in your Profile & Organisation menu.

Don't see the "Create a sandbox" option? No problem, just ask our support team to set one up for you: support@turn.io.
