15 Aug 2024: Faster and more reliable

Neelke Stadler Updated by Neelke Stadler

We’re always working to make our product faster, smoother, and more reliable for you.

In our latest update, we’ve focused on enhancing overall performance by fine-tuning certain features that we know you value.

One of the areas we’ve adjusted is dynamic counting on the Inbox. While these counts have been a helpful feedback tool to know that people are interacting with your service, we’ve found that they were impacting the efficiency of message delivery. To ensure your users get critical information timely, we’re reducing the frequency of dynamic counts.

What does this mean for you?

You’ll notice that the dynamic counts for the "With Bot" and the "Unassigned" groups have been removed. These chat groups are very dynamic, to a point where the frequency of the changing counts are more distracting than helpful. All relevant chats can still easily be found in each group. The "With Bot" group shows people currently interacting with one of your chat journeys. This makes is easy to jump in if someone gets stuck or just keep an eye on live interactions. The "Unassigned" group contains every chat that is not yet assigned to an operator. You can switchin on routing or use bulk assign to divide and conquer chats between team members.

We believe this change will help you achieve your goals faster, without the occasional slowdowns caused by the dynamic counts. We’re committed to delivering the insights and feedback you need, and we are continuing to explore ways to bring you the best of both worlds—accurate data and top-tier performance.
