12 Jul 2025: Improved copying and pasting in Journeys

Small change, big difference: pasting blocks now keeps you in your flow

We've made a small but meaningful improvement to the journey editor: when you paste blocks, you now stay exactly where you're working instead of being moved to a different part of the canvas.

Why This Matters

If you've ever been deep in editing a complex journey, you know how disruptive it can be when pasting a block suddenly jumps you to another location. You lose your place, have to scroll back to where you were, and rebuild your mental context. Those seconds add up, especially when you're moving multiple blocks around or building large flows.

Now pasting works the way you'd expect – the blocks appear, but your view stays put. You remain focused on your work area, maintaining your flow and getting things done faster.

What other quality of life improvements would you like to see?

This update came directly from user feedback about everyday friction points in Journeys. We're always looking for more ways to make your journey building experience smoother and more efficient.

Maybe it's:

  • Better keyboard shortcuts for common actions?
  • Improved search within journeys?
  • Easier ways to duplicate and modify sections?
  • Clearer visual indicators for journey connections?
  • Something else entirely?

Drop us your suggestions. Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference in daily work, and we're listening.
