17 Jun: Calling messages in Journeys

Ricardo Updated by Ricardo

Calling messages have arrived in Journeys

We've just launched 3 new message types in Journeys, all related to Calling.

1. Request permissions to call your users

In order to call your users, Meta has an anti-spam feature that requires you to request permission from users. You can now do this in the context of a Journey, so that when you do need to call people, you already have the right permissions.

You can also branch your Journey depending on what option the user chooses, allowing you to gracefully deal with, for example, a rejection.

2. Request a voice call

You can now also request users to call you over voice. When users click that button, the call starts ringing on your inbox.

3. Request a video call

Finally, you can also request your users to call you over video. It works exactly the same as a voice call, just on video.
