How to load content

Pippa Updated by Pippa

The content you share via WhatsApp can provide a valuable service to your users. Let’s show you how to load your first message on Turn.io.

Now you can start experimenting! One of the first things to try on Turn.io is to add content in the form of pre-loaded messages to your service. This will allow you to answer user questions consistently and quickly.

  1. Step 1: Log in to your Turn.io account and navigate to the “Content” tab on the left-hand side.
  2. Step 2: Click on the “Add content” button top right.
  3. Step 3: In the box that pops up, you’ll now be able to:
  • Add a TITLE for your content. This title won’t display on WhatsApp (i.e. your users won’t see it) but it will help you to find the message again in Turn.io.
  • Add the CONTENT of your message. You can copy and paste content from elsewhere or type it in here. Use the formatting and emoji keys at the bottom of the text field to make your copy easy to scan and read. Emojis are a fun way to bring your content to life. 🤓👍
  • You can UPLOAD an attachment by clicking on the icons below the text field. Your new chat service can accommodate images, video clips, audio clips and documents. Note that the WhatsApp API only allows one attachment per message.

  • Now you can choose a LABEL by clicking on “Select a label”, but this is optional. Labels are used to assign meaning to messages and make them easy to find and collect. Note that you can select a pre-existing label for your piece of content, or add and assign a new label by clicking on “Add label”.
  • Choosing the LANGUAGE in which you’ve written your content is the last step. You won’t be able to complete and save your message if you haven’t selected a language from the dropdown list.
  • Click “Add content”.
  • Once you’re back in the “Content” section of Turn.io, you will see the content you have just created there. If you click on the small menu top right (three little dots), you’ll be able to edit or delete your content.
  • Also note that you can search for your content by using the search bar at the top of the “Content” section.

Congratulations! 🎉 You’ve just uploaded your first piece of content to Turn.io. Now you should be ready to start adding more.

Your pre-loaded content can be used in automated responses to user queries or by operators when they’re having conversations with users in the “Dashboard” section of Turn.io. You can now set up standard replies to frequently asked questions and more. 🙌
