Your WABA application checklist

A WhatsApp Business Account lets your business use the WhatsApp Business API to communicate directly with your customers. You own your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and will see it in your Business Manager. Access to your WABA will automatically be shared us as your Business Solution Provider (BSP).

To create your WABA you will need the following information at hand:
  1. Your login details for your personal Facebook account
  2. Access to your organization’s Facebook Business Manager Account OR permission from your organization to create a new one
  3. Business information
    1. Legal business name
    2. Business phone number (this is not the number you want to use on WhatsApp)
    3. Business website
    4. Your business email address
    5. Business country
    6. Business address
  4. The name you want to use for your WhatsApp service
WhatsApp has rules about what you can and cannot use as a display name. It is important to familiarise yourself with it.
  1. The business info related to your WhatsApp service
    1. Category
    2. Business description
  2. The actual number for your WhatsApp service (provide by us)
This is the number you received from us via email. It is the same number that you will see in your browser whilst going through the process. If you have a special vanity number you will use that.

That's it! If it feels like a long list don't worry, you will be guided through each of these sections in small steps. And if you need to come back to complete your application you can do that too.
